Sheikh Dr Zaki Badawi KBE

A memorial lecture for late Sheikh Dr Zaki Badawi, scholar, community leader and Principal of the Muslim College was organised by the Association of Social Scientists at Lambeth Palace. The lecture on interfaith was delivered by His Grace Dr Rowan Williams the Archbishop of Canterbury.
The distinguished audience included Lady Maryam Badawi, Mr Faras Badawi (son), foreign dignitaries, faith representatives and representatives of all the major Muslim organisations. Mehri Niknam was greatly honoured to have been given the opportunity to read a short talk on the memories of her special relation with Dr Badawi.
